DITTO - Virtual Try OnHow Virtual Try on (powered by DITTO) Works: If you want to see what our glasses look like on your wonderful face, our DITTO service allows you to do that. You need a webcam or a mobile phone in order to take an image of your face. Basically, we scan an image of your face and its unique proportions, and an image is created of you, which we call a “DITTO,” that is used to put images of our glasses on. To use the tool, you must first consent to an image of your face being collected with your webcam and to our .
If you want to create a DITTO, we collect your image and the measurements of your face and its proportions, and we collect some other basic identifying information you provide to us.
How We Use Your DITTO Image: Using your DITTO, we can show you how different styles of eyeglasses will look on your face and recommend additional styles through our website, periodic emails and direct communications to you. We may use non-identifiable information from your DITTO to improve our internal virtual fitting technology.
How Long We Keep Your Ditto: Your DITTO is kept so that you can use it periodically to try on new glasses. It is our policy, however, to retain your DITTO no longer than three (3) years after your last interaction with us. When that time period has elapsed, we permanently destroy your DITTO.
